About the Holy Scriptures (The Bible)
We believe the Bible, contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s infallible written Word. We believe that it was uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
About God
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and become the Savior of the lost world.
About Prayer
We are called to live a life of continuous prayer. We will faithfully pray as a way to worship God, seek wisdom and receive power from the Holy Spirit; engage in prayer individually and corporately as we seek ways to advance the Kingdom of God.
About Humanity (All People)
We believe all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but we became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are dead in sin and incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
About Salvation (Eternal Life)
We believe the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
About the Christian Life
We believe all followers of Jesus Christ will live for Him and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should grow in maturity and conform to the image of Christ.
About the Church of Jesus Christ
We believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to anyone who does not know Him.
